As you can imagine this lil bucket was a pain to draw, but as he ended up looking super cool I decided to keep him instead of selling him as an adopt. Besides who doesn't want a character who's design is so difficult they can never draw it? XD
I doubt there is any RP group that would accept him but he is still open to RP. As he has a human form he can be rped with other equines and humans. But don't be surprised if they end up with his babes XD

About:

Imagine the biggest dysfunctional family in which every member has incredibly destructive powers and countless rivalries with their family members. That is Lotan's family. Dozens of water gods and lesser spirits, each wanting to be better than the others. While Lotan does love all his brothers and sisters that doesn't stop arguments and even fights from happening. Especially if one of them trespasses into his territory. But more often than not he is just exasperated by his family's antics and petty temper tantrums.

Lotan is by no means the oldest or strongest of his siblings, but is is quite clever and very determined to get his way. Some of his powers include manipulating the seawater as he pleases, casing storms and other sea disasters, communicating and controlling sea creatures. Of course there are limits to his abilities, for example when in another god's territory it is harder for him to control the water/ control the sea creatures. Lotan specializes in transformal magic, in this respect he is very much like his kelpie brother Lir. Lotan can take on four main forms, his normal hippocampus form, a equine with four legs, a lionfish, and a human shape. (It is noteworthy to mention that his human form is incredibly handsome) Along with transforming himself he can also transform others into any sort of sea creature.

The ship in the bottle is a lot more than meets the eye. It is the stallion's most prized possession, his incredibly fast galleon called The Scorpion. But why is such a trinket be so valuable? Well the moment the bottle is uncorked the ship slips out and as it does it enlarges to a full sized two masted ship. In the 17th and 18th centuries Lotan and his crew sailed the South Pacific Ocean as pirates and gathered quite a store of loot which is kept safe in a cave.

This god has a habit of abducting young strong humans. Occasionally he takes pretty women but he is more known for taking handsome strong men (usually sailors) who make up the crew of his ship. They serve on The Scorpion for an allotted amount of time and then are given a choice to return to land with a chest of gold or to stay on as part of the crew. Crew members who chose to stay are granted extremely extended lifespans. When the Scorpion is not in use (ie corked up in its bottle) the crew members are transformed into their respective sea creatures which Lotan can call upon at will as he is the captain.

-Some notes on his design-
-His form mimics that of the lionfish
-Like the lionfish, Lotan's spines are poisonous. The venom doesn't cause death but it does cause excruciating throbbing pain, can also cause hallucinations and paralysis.
-He is also covered in iridescent scales which give him additional protection

Personality:

Lotan is a difficult and interesting being to get to know. He is very territorial and will protect what is his with fierce aggression, anything less would be an insult to his pride. Yes, like many gods Lotan is not entirely free from huberis. He likes to show off his power to mortals and tends to have a 'I'm invincible' mindset. However he doesn't tend to use his power to destroy or harm mortals. Unlike many of his siblings Lotan does not hate humans, even though they do pollute the ocean. As long as they are respectful of the sea he will be kind to them, Polynesian fishermen who worship him often find valuable gifts in their nets or prize fish on the end of their lines.
While Lotan does harbor a certain liking for humans that does not mean he is entirely against killing them when they deserve it.  Like the ocean, Lotan's mood can change suddenly from calm to chaotic and violent when irked.
The stallion can also be very sensual and wickedly charming, he always gets whomever he pleases and gets angry when his advances are refused. While Lotan has had no permanent mate he does have a few odd kids swimming about or living among the humans.
